High school student Akane Misaki begins her independent life in a small apartment, but just as she finishes unpacking and prepares to change, a stranger named Ken Hasama suddenly opens the door. Due to a lease contract mix-up by the landlord, the two are unexpectedly forced to share the same living space for a week until a new unit becomes available.

Despite the awkward situation, their first evening passes relatively quietly until bedtime arrives, leaving them with no choice but to share a single futon in the tight apartment. Unable to sleep, Akane lies awake in the quiet room alongside the unfamiliar man.
