To address the gene pool challenges on the isolated Ushihi Island, a teacher named Seiichi is invited by the island’s chief to contribute new DNA. The island presents a unique situation where local women give birth just one week after conception, making the chief’s request for Seiichi to impregnate the islanders a critical task for maintaining the community’s future.

During his stay at a local guesthouse, Seiichi meets Konomi Tachibana, an energetic island resident eager to participate in the repopulation effort. As Konomi’s attachment to Seiichi grows, her increasingly intense feelings create unpredictable situations while Seiichi attempts to carry out his assignment.
